Sun Herald offensive player of the week: St. Stanislaus QB Myles Brennan

St. Stanislaus quarterback Myles Brennan established a personal best with seven touchdowns in a 62-28 victory at Lawrence County Friday night in the Class 4A South State title game.

Brennan, a junior, completed 31-of-42 passes for 551 yards and ran 13 times for 43 yards and another score.

Brennan had a huge first half with 370 yards and five touchdowns passing.

Brennan has thrown a total of 51 touchdowns for the Rockachaws (11-3).

SSC will play Noxubee County at 3 p.m. on Saturday in the 4A state championship contest.
