Prep basketball roundup: St. Martin holds off East Central

Savannah Jones scored 34 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as St. Martin beat East Central 56-50 on Saturday. Daphne White added 10 points and grabbed 21 rebounds for the unbeaten Lady Jackets (4-0).

Bay High girls 51, Biloxi 38: Simone Jackson scored 23 points to lead the Lady Tigers (2-2), while Jamaya Galloway added 15. Alexis McDaniel added 13 for the Lady Indians.

Hancock girls 3, Pass Christian 2: Alyssa Palisi had a hattrick for the Lady Hawks (3-0)

Bay High 73, Long Beach 39: Jamaya Galloway 18 points and nine assists as Bay High beat Long Beach for its first win of the season. Simone Jackson added 16 points, Amari Pittman scored 11 for Bay High (1-2). For Long Beach, Nicole Brock had 18 points.

Gulfport girls 94, Moss Point 39: The Lady Admirals (3-1) were led by Jatiah Lathan's 19. Quentella Johnson had 14, followed by Ayanna Lombard's 13 and Dyawana Parker 10.

Pascagoula girls 42,Biloxi 24: Alexis McBeath scored 14, while Jailin Cherry added 12 for the Lady Panthers.

George County 2, East Central 0: Vallory King and Harley Johnson each scored for the Lady Rebels (2-1).

George County 1, East Central 1: Slade Beach scored for the Rebels (0-2-1).
