Who was the MS Coast’s best high school baseball player in the 2026 season? Vote now

The high school baseball season has run its course on the Mississippi Coast.

Now it’s time to choose the Fans’ Choice Player of the Year after another season loaded with talent around the region.

You can vote as many times as you like until polls close at noon on May 31. This is not a scientific poll, so refresh the page to vote more than once for your top athlete.

Ayden Demoran, D’Iberville: The Southern Miss commit batted .440 with an 1.146 OPS at the plate while pitching to a 1.80 ERA with 74 strikeouts.

Anthony Bonfiglio, East Central: Bonfiglio pitched 49.2 innings with a 2.26 ERA and 54 strikeouts.

Bradyn Havard, George County: Havard struck out a Coast-high 134 batters in 75.1 innings while working a 1.30 ERA.

Thomas Stennis, Gulfport: Stennis tossed 51.2 innings with a 1.63 ERA while cutting down 66 batters.

Jaxson Knight, Hancock: Knight had 28 hits and five home runs at the plate and a 2.44 ERA with 70 strikeouts from the rubber.

Tristan Fox, Ocean Springs: Fox pitched 40 innings of 2.98 ERA baseball while contributing at the plate with a .333 batting average and 20 RBIs.

JJ Morreale, Pearl River Central: Morreale’s 55 hits and .458 batting average are new PRC single season records. The junior had 32 RBIs, 47 runs scored and struck out just four times.

Ty Keys, Poplarville: Keys was among the top hitters on the MS Coast, picking up 52 hits, 13 extra base hits and stealing 27 bases.

Wyatt Schnoor, Resurrection: Schnoor pitched 48 innings, striking out 57 batters and posting a 1.90 ERA.

Jace Jones, St. Martin: Jones recorded 40 hits, 23 RBIs and 15 stolen bases. He batted .426 and had a 1.089 OPS.

Kellan Burge, Stone: Burge had 36 hits with a .995 OPS from the batter’s box and logged a 3.86 ERA as a pitcher with 70 strikeouts in just 49 innings.

Tate Murphy, St. Stanislaus: Murphy had 47 hits and 12 home runs with 37 RBIs this season. He put together a Coast-leading 1.681 OPS.

Dane McElroy, Vancleave: The Bulldogs’ ace had an electric 0.86 ERA with 66 strikeouts in 48.2 innings of work.

Reese Parker, West Harrison: The two-way freshman had a strong season on the mound with 55 strikeouts and a 2.13 ERA. He also had 39 hits, including 17 extra base hits.
