Adam Griffin scored a team-high 15 points, Blake Nettles hit a floater in the late in the final minute to take the lead and the Pascagoula Panthers are Class 6A boys basketball state champions.
The Panthers capped their perfect postseason with a thrilling 56-54 win over Terry, after dispatching Callaway, Jim Hill and George County on the way to the championship.
The title is the first basketball crown on the Coast in more than a decade and, incredibly, the first in history for Jackson County.
Here are some of our favorite photos and a gallery from the historic night.
