Vote for the Mississippi Coast all-sports Athlete of the Week for Dec. 15

The newest Athlete of the Week poll is live.

As always, you can nominate any athlete for an upcoming poll by sending their name, sport and stats from the seven days immediately preceding the day of the next poll.

This week our nominees feature players from Christian Collegiate, D’Iberville, East Central, Harrison Central, Ocean Springs, Resurrection.

This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at noon Monday, Dec. 22.

Noah Davis, Christian Collegiate boys basketball: Davis helped continue the Bulldogs’ hot start with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in a win over Columbia Academy.

Caleb Triplett, D’Iberville football: Triplett was the Mississippi MVP in the MS-AL All Star game after forcing and recovering a fumble, blocking a punt and recording a sack.

Lucy Myrick, East Central girls soccer: Just a freshman, Myrick scored 4 goals in a 5-2 win over North Jones.

Saniyah Murray, Harrison Central girls basketball: Murray stuffed the box score with 23 points, 9 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 blocks during a 73-12 beating of South Jones.

Drew Anderson, Ocean Springs girls soccer: The sophomore Anderson scored 4 goals and logged an assist during a 7-0 rout of Harrison Central.

Gian Vera, Resurrection boys basketball: Vera dropped a season-high 41 points with 8 assists and 7 steals in a 95-51 win over Poplarville.
