Top performances of Week 12: Check out the brightest high school football stars

These were the top performers from Week 12.

Jayquan Havard, D’Iberville: Havard gained 101 rushing yards on 14 carries in the Warriors’ 14-3 loss to Petal.

Malakai Knight, D’Iberville: The tight end caught three passes for 151 yards and ran six times for another 25 yards.

Caleb Triplett, D’Iberville: Triplett led the defense with 12 tackles and two tackles for loss.

Cooper Crosby, Gulfport: Crosby used 19 carries to pick up 193 yards and three touchdowns in the Admirals’ 45-7 win over Northwest Rankin.

Andre Peters, Gulfport: Peters logged 20 tackles, one tackle for loss and two pass breakups.

Javious Hales, Gulfport: The junior Admiral caught four passes for 49 yards on offense. On defense he intercepted two passes and returned both of them for touchdowns.

Amarie Jackson, Pascagoula: Jackson ran 16 times for 120 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-7 first round win over Terry.

Creevy Harness Jr, Pascagoula: Harness Jr had a team-high 16 tackles with one tackle for loss on defense.

Jonathan Shelby Jr, Pascagoula: The junior made 14 stops and recorded three tackles for loss.

Tomareo Johnson, Pascagoula: Johnson had 10 tackles, one tackle for loss, three pass breakups and returned an interception 80 yards for a score.

Paris Trivillion, Pass Christian: Trivillion completed 11 of 14 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns in the Pirates’ 49-22 win over Morton. He also rushed for 54 yards and another touchdown.

Dwight Thomas, Pass Christian: The senior caught four passes for 113 yards and grabbed his 17th touchdown of the year. He also had a 60-yard pick six on defense.

Cecil Lizana, Pass Christian: Lizana had nine tackles, two stops for loss, 1.5 sacks, a blocked punt and two rushing touchdowns.

Xavier Dennis, Picayune: Dennis found the end zone four times on the ground in the Tide’s 55-7 win over George County.

Markell McGill, Picayune: The senior recorded 10 tackles, one tackle for loss and a pass breakup.

Ty Keys, Poplarville: Keys gained 195 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 29 runs in a 43-34 win over Forest.

Trac Smith, Poplarville: Smith completed two passes for 66 yards, had 55 rushing yards and two scores and intercepted a pass on defense.

Semaj Jamison, Poplarville: The sophomore made 10 tackles and picked off two passes for the Hornets.

Ayden Green, Stone: Green ran the ball 14 times for 170 yards and two touchdowns in the Tomcats’ 35-7 win over Sumrall.

Jayden Collins, Stone: Collins picked up 123 yards on just six carries and added two rushing touchdowns.
