Who was the MS Coast’s best high school volleyball player in 2025? Vote now

The South Mississippi volleyball season produced top teams and top talent in 2025.

Our Lady Academy and Ocean Springs both took home state championship trophies while George County earned a South State title.

It’s now time to sort out the who’s who of the season with the Player of the Year poll.

The winner of the poll will be recognized in the All-South Mississippi Volleyball Team.

You can vote as many times as you like until the poll closes at noon on Thursday, Nov. 13. The poll is not scientific, and you can vote again by simply refreshing the page.

Nicole Miles, Biloxi: The senior led the Indians with 191 kills and a .303 hit percentage in her fourth season on varsity.

Lila Gerrie, East Central: Gerrie was a versatile asset for the Hornets, recording 129 kills, 204 digs, 415 assists and 82 aces.

Lani McDoniel, George County: McDoniel had a team-high 319 kills on a .239 hit percentage. She made 204 digs and sent across 58 aces.

Harper Keogh, Gulfport: Keogh enjoyed a breakout junior campaign in which she logged 297 kills to lead the Admirals.

Laney Necaise, Hancock: The captain outside hitter registered 289 of her more than 500 career kills for the Hawks.

Lilly Rutland, Ocean Springs: The Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C. commit capped a strong career with a 391-kill season accompanied by 273 digs.

Myah Favre, Our Lady Academy: The two-time 3A Miss Volleyball winner landed 626 kills with the nation’s second-best hit percentage of .593.

Mallarie Cuevas, Poplarville: Cuevas was the top scorer on a district champion Hornets team with a .369 hit percentage while also leading in blocks.

Chloe Tucker, Stone: Tucker enjoyed a career year in which she led the Tomcats with 264 kills as a senior.

Emma Bunn, West Harrison: The junior had 266 kills and 234 digs and became the Hurricanes’ first-ever MAC All Star representative.
