South MS football Week 11 scoreboard: Regular season finales and playoff games
It’s playoff time for some and almost playoff time for most around South Mississippi.
Thursday night games were highlighted by Pearl River Central’s stunning upset over Picayune, snapping the Maroon Tide’s 28-game district winning streak.
The Singing River Rivalry featured a running clock and both East Central and Vancleave had their playoff hopes dashed.
Friday’s playoff action featured four teams from the Coast with only one hosting. Region 8-4A champ Pass Christian welcomed South Pike, and three-seed Poplarville was a road favorite at Forrest County AHS.
