Dominant D’Iberville standouts lead Week 5’s top MS Coast performers

These were the Mississippi Coast’s top performers of week five.

Chan Harvey, D’Iberville: Harvey rushed for 100 yards and three touchdowns in the Warriors’ 42-6 win over Harrison Central.

Jaylen Johnson, D’Iberville: Johnson picked up 94 yards from scrimmage and scored twice.

Jordan Walley, D’Iberville: Walley completed seven passes for 114 yards on offense and recorded an interception on defense.

KJ Washington, D’Iberville: The edge rusher made four stops with two sacks, one forced fumble and one pass breakup.

Deandre Williams, Gulfport: Williams got into the backfield for three sacks, forced two fumbles and produced a pass breakup in a 53-13 win over Pascagoula.

Cooper Crosby, Gulfport: The senior back found the end zone three times, twice on the ground and once on the receiving end of a 30-yard touchdown pass.

Lanny Waltman, Ocean Springs: Waltman found the end zone on the ground a career-high three times in the Greyhounds’ 31-6 win over Biloxi.

Solomon Baggett, Ocean Springs: Baggett racked up 127 rushing yards on just 12 carries.

Peyton Williams, Ocean Springs: The senior kicker got touchbacks from four of his five kick offs and booted a 54-yard punt that settled inside the 20-yard line.

Dwight Thomas, Pass Christian: Thomas caught five passes for 112 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-33 win over East Central.

Paris Trivillion, Pass Christian: Trivillion threw for 187 yards, rushed for 77 more and totaled four touchdowns.

Ryland Shoulders, Pass Christian: Shoulders led the Pirates’ defense with 12 tackles, four tackles for loss and a fumble recovery.

Brandon Laneaux, Pass Christian: The defensive back made 10 tackles, broke up two passes, forced a fumble and blocked a kick.

Titus Feaster, Pearl River Central: Feaster picked up 138 yards rushing with three scores in a 28-24 win over Sumrall. He also added a passing touchdown.

Caden Hinton, Pearl River Central: The sophomore needed just six carries to rack up 109 rushing yards.

A’Darrius Fortenberry, Picayune: Fortenberry scored a 19-yard touchdown and caught the go-ahead 35-yard scoring toss from Colt Robinson in a 28-21 win over Poplarville.

Ty Keys, Poplarville: Keys ran for 280 yards and three touchdowns during the loss to Picayune, including a 74-yard score on the game’s first play.

Parker Pearson, Poplarville: The senior logged a career-high 19 tackles with one tackle for loss.

Ayden Green, Stone: The sophomore picked up 119 rushing yards in a 13-0 loss to George County.

Kyle Capers, Vancleave: Capers ran for 212 yards and four touchdowns on just 12 carries in a 69-18 rout of Moss Point.

Wyatt Adams, Vancleave: Adams completed four of his five pass attempts for 131 yards and two touchdowns. He also picked up 54 yards rushing.
