It’s again time to vote for a new Athlete of the Week.

Nominees from the opening week feature players from from Gautier, Ocean Springs, Pass Christian, Poplarville, St. Martin and Vancleave.

This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at noon Friday, Sept. 26, at sunherald.com.

Latrell Pogue, Gautier: Pogue ran for 143 yards and four touchdowns in the Gators’ 39-0 win over Moss Point.

Chalmers Berglind, Ocean Springs: Berglind threw for 326 yards and four touchdowns in leading the Greyhounds to a 56-42 win over Picayune.

Paris Trivillion, Pass Christian: Trivillion threw for 228 yards and four touchdowns in a 56-0 win over St. Stanislaus. He also ran for 67 yards and a score.

Ty Keys, Poplarville: The four-star gained 175 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries in the win over Pearl River Central.

Seth Crockett, St. Martin: Crockett completed 22 of 25 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-0 win over Hancock. He also ran for 81 yards and another score.

Kyle Capers, Vancleave: Capers totaled 197 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a 27-21 win over Greene County.
