South MS high school football scoreboard: Week 2 brought tight games across Coast
The Mississippi Coast spread out for 17 games in Week 2 of the high school football season.
Road trips, telling non-region clashes and old rivalries were on the menu, including multiple high-profile games involving top-classification teams.
Ocean Springs defeated a visiting Petal team fresh off a 24-point stomping of Hattiesburg. Biloxi also played its first home game, holding off a loaded Pascagoula squad. D’Iberville mauled Gautier in what was a big measuring stick game for both teams.
