Who will be the Mississippi Coast Athlete of the Week for Feb. 17? Vote now in our poll
Crossover season is briefly upon us. Soccer and basketball postseasons mingle with the start of baseball and softball and four sports are represented in this week’s poll.
Mississippi Coast athletes are nominated this week from D’Iberville, Pass Christian, Poplarville, St. Patrick and St. Stanislaus.
This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at noon Monday, Feb. 24, at sunherald.com.
Get to know the nominees here:
- Emma Franklin, D’Iberville softball: Franklin recorded 12 total bases on five hits (four doubles and one home run) across two wins. She also threw five scoreless innings with seven strikeouts.
