Mississippi Coast athletes who shined on the court are nominated this week from Biloxi, Hancock, Pascagoula, St. Martin and West Harrison.
This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at noon Monday, Jan. 20, at sunherald.com.

- Kentrell Beasley, Biloxi boys basketball: The junior poured in 22 points and added nine steals in a win against St. Martin.
- Talana Bond, Hancock girls basketball: Bond scored 23 points with seven steals in a win against Long Beach.
- Kelan Rich, Pascagoula boys basketball: Rich scored 17 points in a win against West Harrison and then 22 during a win over Picayune.
- Kylenn Ward, St. Martin girls basketball: Ward stuffed the box score with 16 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and seven steals in a win over D’Iberville.
- Sydnei Barber, West Harrison girls basketball: Barber dropped 43 points with six rebounds and five assists in a win over Pascagoula.
