Mississippi Coast athletes who shined in holiday tournaments are nominated this week from Bay High, Biloxi, Moss Point, Pass Christian and St. Martin.
This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at noon Monday, Jan. 6, at sunherald.com.

- Emmalee Coote, Bay High girls basketball: Coote led the Tigers with 18 points in a win over Picayune.
- Zaniya Johnson, Biloxi girls basketball: It’s been a busy week for Johnson, who averaged 20.5 points and 12 rebounds across two wins and earned a scholarship offer from Tennessee.
- Jujuan Nettles, Moss Point boys basketball: The senior scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a win against Oak Grove.
- Landon Hall, Pass Christian boys basketball: Hall poured in 26 points in a close loss to Madison Central.
- Jaxon Walker, St. Martin boys basketball: Walker scored 19 points and added five rebounds and five assists in a win over Sacred Heart.
