It’s time again to vote for the athlete of the week.
Mississippi Coast athletes from the gridiron to the hardwood are nominated this week from Biloxi, George County, Gulfport, Moss Point and St. Martin.
This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at noon Monday, Dec. 23, at sunherald.com.

- Reggie Magee, Biloxi boys basketball: Magee averaged 15.7 points per game while leading the Indians to three wins during the week.
- Deuce Knight, George County football: Knight accounted for three touchdowns and earned Mississippi MVP honors in the Mississippi-Alabama All Star Game.
- Morris Robertson, Gulfport boys basketball: Robertson averaged 15 points, 9.5 rebounds, 7.5 steal and 2.5 blocks across two wins over St. Martin and Crescent City (La.).
- Jordyn Ford, Moss Point girls basketball: Ford dropped 18 points with four rebounds in a win over Bryant (Al.).
- Kylenn Ward, St. Martin girls basketball: Ward’s Yellow Jackets remain undefeated thanks in part to her averaging 17.7 points, seven steals and six assists across three wins against Gulfport, Harrison Central and Pass Christian.
