This week’s football players are nominated from Gautier, Gulfport, Harrison Central, Pascagoula, Picayune, Poplarville and West Harrison.

Trey Irving, Gautier: Mr. 5A Football threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns and added 60 yards and another score on the ground in a 42-6 win over Laurel.
Cooper Crosby, Gulfport: Crosby tallied 142 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a 42-21 win over Harrison Central.
Zahkarri McGlothin, Harrison Central: The junior ran the ball 16 times for 213 yards and a touchdown in the loss to Gulfport.
Amarie Jackson, Pascagoula: Jackson had 160 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a 49-13 win over George County. Jackson also returned a kick 62 yards for a score.
BJ Ducre, Picayune: Ducre had two rushing touchdowns and five tackles with three sacks in the win over the Hawks.
Zack Case, Poplarville: The senior had 128 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns in the 27-26 playoff win over Mendenhall.
Jordan Stapleton, West Harrison: Stapleton ran for 301 yards and five touchdowns in a 61-7 win over Long Beach.
