Now is your chance to vote in our Athlete of the Week poll, following another Friday night of non-district play around the Coast. The full top performers list can be found here.

This week’s football players are nominated from D’Iberville, Gautier, Hancock, Poplarville, Pass Christian and Stone.

This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at noon Friday, Oct. 11, at sunherald.com.

Get to know the nominees here:

  • Jordan Walley, D’Iberville: Walley completed four passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another 55 yards and a score in a 35-7 win over Wayne County.
  • Trey Irving, Gautier: Irving scored three rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown in a 42-41 win over Columbia.

  • Aidan Taylor, Hancock: Taylor recorded 10 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack and a fumble recovery in a 35-34 loss to Florence.

  • Thomas Lambert, Poplarville: Lambert rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries in a 28-14 win over Moss Point.

  • Paris Trivillion, Pass Christian: Trivillion threw for 261 yards and a touchdown and ran for another 107 yards and a score in a 33-25 loss to Greene County.

  • Kylan Burnett, Stone: Burnett ran for 140 yards and two touchdowns for the Tomcats in a 32-0 win over St. Stanislaus.
