It’s time to vote for the Mississippi Coast football Athlete of the Week for October 23
Now is your chance to vote for athlete of the week following another Friday night of district play around the Coast. The full top performers list can be found here.
This week’s football players are nominated from Gautier, George County, Harrison Central, Pascagoula, St. Stanislaus, Picayune and Stone.
This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at noon Friday, Oct. 27, at www.sunherald.com.

Solomon Baggett, Gautier: Baggett had 232 rushing yards and three touchdowns for the Gators in their 34-7 win over East Central.
Montrell Dortch, George County: Dortch caught five passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns in the Rebels’ 54-19 win over West Harrison.
Tri Gaughf, Harrison Central: Gaughf completed nine passes for 257 yards and five touchdowns while adding 32 rushing yards and and another score on the ground in the win over D’Iberville.
Jaylon Parnell, Pascagoula: Parnell intercepted two passes for the Panthers in a 32-21 win over Hancock.
Darrell Smith, Picayune: Smith rushed for five first-half touchdowns in a 42-7 win over Long Beach.
Ian Gonzalez Rioz, St. Stanislaus: Gonzalez Rioz threw for 283 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for another 68 yards and two more scores in a 42-7 win over Perry Central.
KJ Galloway, Stone: Galloway had 150 all-purpose yards, a receiving touchdown and a kick return touchdown in a win over Wayne County.
