Here are the top high school football performers across week 7 in South Mississippi
These were the top performers from the seventh week of Friday night football.
- Benny Williams, Bay High: Williams rushed for 229 yards and two touchdowns in The Bay’s 37-34 win over Moss Point. Williams also recorded 11 tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks.
- Jaylen Antoine, Bay High: Antoine ran for 199 yards and two touchdowns, also converted three two-point tries.
- Trey Irving, Gautier: Irving completed 18 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 102 yards and another score in a 25-14 win over Vancleave.
- Fred Nicholson, Gautier: Nicholson recorded 13 tackles, a quarterback hurry and a fumble recovery.
- Angel McGee, Gautier: McGee registered 14 total tackles and a tackle for loss.
- Deuce Knight, George County: Knight completed seven passes for 134 yards and three touchdowns, rushed for another score in a 48-7 win over Long Beach.
- Blaine Green, George County: Green recorded 11 tackles and three tackles for loss for the Rebels.
- Kohl Bradley, George County: Bradley had four tackles and a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown.
- Marlin Odom, George County: Odom returned an interception 97 yards for a touchdown.
- Nico Williams, Gulfport: Williams completed 14 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns in the Admirals’ 42-0 win over Biloxi.
- Gavin Brown, Gulfport: Brown had 63 rushing yards and two touchdowns, plus caught five passes for 34 yards.
- Cam Joseph, Gulfport: Joseph caught four passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns.
- Cooper Crosby, Gulfport: Crosby rushed for 97 yards and scored two touchdowns.
- Zach Gullung, Hancock: Gullung rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns in the Hawks’ 42-26 win over West Harrison.
- Dylan Moran, Hancock: Moran threw for 278 yards and tossed three touchdown passes for the Hawks.
- Neil Acker, Hancock: Acker had 163 receiving yards and caught touchdown passes of 42 and 65 yards.
- Jayden Taylor, Harrison Central: Taylor recorded eight total tackles and a sack in the Red Rebels 17-13 win over St. Martin.
- Tri Gaughf, Harrison Central: Gaughf completed 18 passes for 217 yards while rushing for 32 yards and a touchdown.
- Will Smith, Ocean Springs: Smith ran for 110 yards on 10 carries and scored two touchdowns in the Greyhounds’ 43-13 win over D’Iberville.
- Will Berglind, Ocean Springs: Berglind threw for 119 yards and tossed two touchdown passes.
- Jacquez Alexander-Dedeaux, Pass Christian: Alexander-Dedeaux ran for 101 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to Poplarville.
- Terry Patton, Pass Christian: Patton caught seven passes for 122 yards for the Pirates.
- Qorday Russell, Pearl River Central: Russell threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-27 loss to Forest Hill.
- Tylan Keys, Poplarville: Keys ran for 146 yards and three touchdowns in Poplarville’s 31-23 win over Pass Christian.
- Lane Amacker, Poplarville: Amacker picked up 126 rushing yards and scored once for the Hornets.
- Aden Dedeaux, Poplarville: Dedeaux recorded seven tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble.
- Logan Jeffreys, St. Martin: Jeffreys threw for 179 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to Harrison Central.
- Noreel White, St. Martin: White caught six passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns.
- Ian Gonzalez Rioz, St. Stanislaus: Rioz rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown in the Rock-a-Chaws’ 23-6 win over Tylertown.
- Isaiah Haynes, St. Stanislaus: Haynes rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown.
- Evan Noel, St. Stanislaus: Noel connected on three field goals, one of 38 yards and two of 49.
- Willie Breland, Stone: Breland had seven tackles, two interceptions, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a receiving touchdown in the Tomcats’ 14-6 loss to Laurel.
- Derik Forehand, Vancleave: Forehand rushed for 112 yards on 18 carries in the loss to Gautier.
- Scottie Toothman, Vancleave: Toothman had an interception and a fumble recovery for the Bulldogs.
