The St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaw football program will have new leadership going forward.

Former assistant Tim Lala will be returning Bay St. Louis as the school’s 12th football coach, according to Principal Gary Blackburn.

Lala is currently an assistant on Lewis Sims’ staff at Pascagoula as special teams coordinator and will join St. Stanislaus when the 2023-2024 school year begins.

“We are happy to have Tim (Lala) back at St. Stanislaus,” Blackburn said in a press release. “He is thrilled to rejoin our team and I am confident he will be a great leader and role model, not only for our football players, but for all of the young men who attend SSC.”

Lala last coached for St. Stanislaus during 2015 when the team finished as state runner-ups under Bill Conides. He is replacing Nate Encrapera, who led the team for five seasons.
