Nick Saban visits Ocean Springs ahead of Bray Hubbard signing

Alabama head coach Nick Saban was in Ocean Springs this week to check on his class of 2023 commit Bray Hubbard after his showing in the MS-AL All Star Game.

Projected as a safety for the Crimson Tide, Hubbard accounted for over 80 yards of offense and was Mississippi’s most effective quarterback in the all star contest.

Hubbard is Mississippi’s reigning two-time 6A Mr. Football award winner and is set to officially sign on the dotted line next Wednesday.

Hubbard plans to enroll early, bypassing a chance to be taken in next summer’s MLB draft in order to join Saban’s team a semester early. He’s currently nursing a minor shoulder injury, but will be fine according to Greyhound coach Blake Pennock.
