It’s time to vote for Sun Herald’s MS Coast Athlete of the Week for October 10
Now is your chance to vote on which star will be named the athlete of the week following the seventh week of high school football on the Mississippi Coast.
We have high school football stars from D’Iberville, Stone, Gautier, George County, Gulfport, Poplarville and Ocean Springs on this week’s poll.
This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at noon on Friday, Oct. 14, at www.sunherald.com.

- Andre Crosby, D’Iberville: Crosby ran for 75 yards and had 87 receiving yards. He scored two touchdowns in the Warriors’ 44-37 double-overtime win over Pascagoula.
Kaden Irving, Gautier: Irving threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns while adding two more scores on the ground.
Deuce Knight, George County: Knight threw for 253 yards and a score while adding 109 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground in a 29-22 loss to Vancleave.
Jacob Palazzo, Gulfport: Palazzo completed 17 of 21 pass attempts for 246 yards and two scores.
Bray Hubbard, Ocean Springs: Hubbard threw for 215 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 122 yards and another score in a 48-28 win over Biloxi.
Benny Jarvis, Poplarville: Jarvis scored three touchdowns, catching one and rushing for two, in the Hornets’ 47-18 win over Lawrence County.
John Peterson, Vancleave: Peterson ran for 281 yards and two scores in the Bulldogs’ win over George County.
