South Mississippi standouts selected for Mississippi-Alabama All Star Game
South Mississippi will once again be well represented in the state’s biggest all star football game this year.
The Mississippi roster is dotted with eight players from the Coast who will be representing their state in the Mississippi-Alabama All Star Game in December.
Fans and family will again have a favorable location for travel, as this year’s game is set to be played at Hancock Whitney Stadium on the University of South Alabama campus in Mobile.
Here is the list of players who will be representing the region against Alabama’s top high school football players:
- DL Amarion Ware - Harrison Central
- DL Jamarious Brown - Moss Point
- DL Zavion Coleman - Picayune
- K Bart Edmiston - Ocean Springs
- OL Ladarius Jordan - Gulfport
- OL Jeremy Flora - Pascagoula
- QB Bray Hubbard - Ocean Springs
- RB Dante Dowdell - Picayune
Coaches from the Coast on the Mississippi staff include Katlan French from Biloxi and Eugene Harmon of Moss Point.
The game is scheduled for Dec. 10 and will kick off at noon.
The Mississippi Association of Coaches also announced the Bernard Blackwell All Star Game rosters with 14 Coast players representing the South team.

That game will be played at Milner Stadium in Gulfport on Dec. 17.
