St. Martin debuted brand new uniforms for its homecoming game against Hancock on Friday. The “Color rush” jersey’s feature the program’s newest hashtag, #TheColony, on the front and the player’s social media tags on the back nameplate.
Head coach Ty Smith says he believes they are a first-of-their-kind uniform in high school football and wanted to give his athletes a chance to get their names out in a growing digital era.
