Top high school football performances from week 4 in South Mississippi
Another week in high school football in South Mississippi is in the books. Here are the top performances from week four on the eve of district play.
- Kaden Irving, Gautier: Irving threw for 301 yards and two touchdowns, while adding two more scores on the ground in a 42-14 win over Moss Point.
- AJ Phillips, Gautier: Phillips caught seven passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns.
- Zach Gullung, Hancock: Gullung had 173 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the Hawks’ 49-0 win over Lanier.
- Silas Corder, Pascagoula: Corder threw two touchdowns, including a 41-yard strike, in the Panthers’ 21-14 win over Wayne County.
- Lathan Lewis, Pass Christian: Lewis intercepted his first two passes of his career in a 21-3 win over St. Stanislaus.
- Karsten Mooney, Pass Christian: Mooney had 11 tackles and four tackles for loss.
- Dante Dowdell, Picayune: The Oregon commit had 232 rushing yards and three touchdowns, including a 98-yard score, in the 35-7 win over D’Iberville.
- Maurice Travis, Poplarville: Travis had 113 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the 48-6 win over Terry.
- Avan Jarvis, Poplarville: Jarvis tallied up 108 rushing yards and three scores for the Hornets.
- Jaylon Dampeer, St. Martin: Dampeer ran for 139 yards and three touchdowns in the 42-26 win over Greene County.
- DK Jenkins, St. Martin: Jenkins threw for 262 yards and two scores while also rushing for 52 yards.
- Jalen Anderson, St. Martin: Anderson caught five passes for 109 yards and a touchdown.
- Landon Weber, St. Martin: Weber recorded nine stops, two tackles for loss and recovered a fumble.
- Daylon Collins, Stone: Collins had 89 rushing yards and three touchdowns in the 56-6 win over Forrest County Ag.
- Connor Tice, Stone: Tice completed 16 of 18 pass attempts for 193 yards and three touchdowns. Also added a rushing score.
- Chasden Collins, Stone: Collins caught seven passes for 87 yards and a score. Also had 37 rushing yards.
- Thomas Salloum, St. Patrick: Salloum ran for 166 yards and a touchdown, added 26 receiving yards and returned a punt 61 yards for a score in St. Patrick’s 35-0 win over Benjamin Franklin (La.).
- Ayden Le, St. Patrick: Le had six tackles, a tackle for loss and returned an interception 95 yards for a score.
- John Hay, St. Patrick: Hay recorded 11 tackles, a tackle for loss and a forced fumble.
- Otis Brooks, St. Patrick: Brooks rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns.
