It’s time to vote for Sun Herald’s MS Coast Athlete of the Week for April 12
It is time once again to vote for the Sun Herald’s Athlete of the Week.
This week, we have top Coast performers from baseball and softball.
This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at 5 p.m. Friday, April 1.
We have athletes representing D’Iberville, Pearl River Central, Harrison Central, Biloxi and East Central in this week’s poll.

- Logan Terry, East Central baseball: Terry had two hits with a home run and four RBIs in a win over George County. Also threw out four base runners from behind the dish.
- Gabriella Smith, Harrison Central softball: Smith tossed a one-hitter in a 7-0 win over Biloxi.
- Karley Rouse, D’Iberville softball: Rouse had six hits across two games with a home run. Recorded 10 strikeouts against St. Martin and then 15 strikeouts against Pascagoula.
- Cailey Pervel, Pearl River Central softball: Pervel two home runs and picked up four RBIs in a 5-3 win over Picayune.
- Tanner Ladner, Hancock baseball: Ladner had three hits, a walk, a home run and four RBIs in a 9-8 win over Biloxi.
