It’s time to vote for Sun Herald’s MS Coast Athlete of the Week for March 28
It is time once again to vote for the Sun Herald’s Athlete of the Week. This week, we have top Coast performers from baseball and softball, as well as an up-and-coming track and field star.
This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you’d like until voting ends at 5 p.m. Friday, April 1.
We have athletes representing D’Iberville, Picayune, Harrison Central, Ocean Springs and Vancleave in this week’s poll.

- Julie Segroves, D’Iberville pole vault: Mississippi-best 12’3 pole vaulter leads every freshman in the country.
- Kylie Burnette, Picayune softball : Pitched a perfect game against Long Beach, followed up with 10 strikeouts against Harrison Central.
- Tri Gaugh, Harrison Central baseball: Batted .600 for the week with a double, home run, two RBIs and two runs. Also had four strikeouts on the mound.
- Bray Hubbard, Ocean Springs baseball: Had two home runs during the week with five RBIs. Added a double, plus two pick-offs.
- Aubree Hunter, Vancleave softball: Had four hits in a win over South Jones, three of them being doubles. Scored three runs and drove in five RBIs.
