Meet the top Coast athletes selected for the 4A regional volleyball team
Volleyball coaches from class 4A region 8 have selected the All-Regional team for the 2021 season.
Pass Christian led the region with four selections followed by Stone with three players on the team. Bay High and Poplarville each placed two while Moss Point had one selection.
Daydria Cuevas led the state runner-up Pirates with 67 kills and 74 aces. Joining her from PCHS was Kylah Bell with her 133 total blocks, Marin Beeson and her 137 aces and Lauren Hall with 103 digs.
Stone High placed a trio of seniors in Kendall Burn, Bailey Baker and Morgan Pickering. Burn leads the All-Region team in assists with 210. Baker had 148 digs and 126 kills while Pickering had 120 digs and 88 kills.
Poplarville placed senior Abbie Jordan and junior Sarah Bolin. From BHS were two seniors in Aleyah Calomese and McKenzie Favre. Moss Point’s Kamyah Love.
