Prep Roundup: Hancock girls nip Biloxi

Kerringten Perkins scored 22 points as Hancock beat Biloxi 37-35 on Friday night. Kaylan Ladner added 15 for the Lady Hawks (18-5), including a three-pointer in the closing seconds.

St. Martin girls 58, Ocean Springs 44: Daphane White scored 27 points, grabbed 27 rebounds and blocked nine shots for the Lady Jackets (19-3, 5-0 Region 7-6A). Mikyah Mack led Ocean Springs with 15 points.

Picayune 47, Pearl River Central 37: Delrae Smith led the Maroon Tide with 16 points, Jordan Griffith added 15. PRC was led by Willie Reece’s 13 points.

Pass Christian girls 50, Moss Point 47: The Lady Pirates won in double overtime. Emory Benoit had 14 points , and Cayla Obillo had 10 points. Robyn Lee of Moss Point had 24 points and 14 points.

Pascagoula 78, D’Iberville 57: Pascagoula (14-6, 4-1 Region 7-6A) was led by Jayden McCorvey with 21 points. D’Iberville was led by LaZarius Ratcliff with 22 points.

Ocean Springs 73, St. Martin 49: Ryan Black led the Greyhounds with 15 points. Malcolm Magee added 14 points and eight rebounds. Gavin Guidry 12 points, Darrien Wallace added 11.

Ben’s Ford 60, Christian Collegiate Academy 32: Cody Hilton and River Johnson each with nine points.

Vancleave 32, East Central 31: Jonathan Knight led the Bulldogs with 11 points.

Ocean Springs girls 3, West Harrison 1: Ameris Taylor, Erin Clifford and Kaylee Foster all scored for the Lady Greyhounds (13-6-1).

OLA 3, Resurrection 0: Olivia Gelpi scored twice, Ashlyn Davis added one to lead the Lady Crescents. Paige Palazzo had a shut out in the goal.

Pearl River Central girls 2, North Pike 1: The Lady Devils prevailed in overtime.

St. Martin girls 2, Gautier 2: The Lady Jackets and Lady Gators played to a tie.

Hattiesburg 3, Picayune 1: The Maroon Tide fell in the Region 7-5A contest.

Pearl River Central 3, North Pike 0: The Blue Devils clinch a Class 5A state playoff berth.
