St. Martin senior continues to dominate, picks up Sun Herald honor
St. Martin senior center Daphane White had another huge week with a pair of double-doubles to pick up Sun Herald Player of the Week honors.
She scored 29 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and blocked seven shots in a 59-34 win over Pascagoula on Tuesday.
On Friday, she produced 26 points, 21 rebounds and four blocked shots in a 52-28 victory over rival Pascagoula.
White, a Mississippi State signee, is averaging 25.9 points, 14.1 rebounds and 5.8 blocks.
No. 1 St. Martin is 15-3 headed into Tuesday night’s home game against Long Beach.
