Prep roundup: Gulfport cruises at Lady Admiral Classic

Gulfport beat Northeast Jones 58-32 at the Lady Admiral Classic on Saturday at Bert Jenkins Gymnasium.

Dywana Parker led the Lady Admirals (12-5) with 16 points, Jerkia McInnis added14 points, Alexus Marsh scored 11 points.

Meridian 63, Harrison Central Boys 46: Dayquan Perkins led the Red Rebels with 16 points and nine rebounds. Dajon Whitworth added 10 points.

Christian Collegiate Academy, Resurrection split: The Lady Bulldogs Resurrection 45-25 as Sam Burleson scored 20 points. The Eagles won the boys game 49-31. River Johnson led CCA with 12 points.

Ocean Springs girls 2, Oak Grove 2: Erin Clifford and Ameris Taylor each scored for the Lady Greyhounds (11-6-2).

Ocean Springs sweeps: Max Higginbotham scored the game’s only goal as the Greyhounds beat Jackson Academy 1-0 on Friday. Caleb Burke and Cody Pierce each scored twice as the Greyhounds beat Jackson Prep 4-1 Saturday.
