Prep roundup: St. Martin boys hold opponent to just two points in first half

St. Martin’s boys held Gautier to only two points in the first half Tuesday night and cruised to a 40-22 victory. JaRonn Wilkens led the Yellow Jackets (10-3) with 12 points and eight rebounds. Trez Kennedy and Jayce Franklin added 10 and eight points respectively.

Stone 72, Poplarville 37: Cortez McCarty and Brian Milton led the Tomcats (9-2) with 12 points apiece.

West Harrison 50, Bay 48: Ramarcus Conner hit the game-winning shot off an assist from Drelon Pittman to lift the Hurricanes Monday night. Pittman led WHHS with 21 points, 10 assist and five blocks. Conner recorded 13 points and five rebounds.

Other scores: Long Beach 64, Hancock 54.

Oak Grove girls 2, George County 1: Brooke Tanner scored the lone goal for GCHS (12-2-1, 2-1).
