Vancleave sophomore pours on the goals to earn Sun Herald Player of the Week
Sophomore Sydney Salter had a big week while leading the Vancleave girls soccer team to a pair of wins, earning her Sun Herald Girls Player of the Week honors.
She scored seven goals total during the week with four of them coming in a 9-1 win over Forrest County AHS.
In a 4-3 win over D'Iberville on Saturday, she came up with a hat trick.
Salter has scored 21 goals in nine games this season for the Lady Bulldogs (9-4).
Vancleave will travel to East Central Thursday for a key match.
