4A South state runner-up Poplarville dominates Region 7-4A squad

Poplarville dominated the Region 7-4A. The Hornets took two of the three individual honors. Jay Beech was named Region 7-4A coach of the year. Running back Austin Bolton was named offensive player of the year. Bolton ran 213 times for 2,300 yards and 30 touchdowns as the Hornets reached the 4A state semifinals.

FCAHS defensive lineman Ethan Clark was the Region 7-4A defensive MVP.
