Running back Jerry Johnson helped Resurrection land a Class 1A state playoff berth.
The senior earned Sun Herald offensive player of the week honors after leading the Eagles to a 55-34 victory over East Marion on Thursday night.
Johnson ran 24 times for 185 yards and scored five touchdowns for the Eagles (5-6), the third seed from Region 4-1A. For the season, Johnson has 629 yards on 109 carries with nine scores.
Resurrection travels to French Camp in a first-round playoff contest next Friday.
