St. Martin’s Pavlus nets 200th career victory at Mike Perkins Super Saturday Tournament

Jariyon Wilkins scored 23 points to lead St. Martin past East Central 57-38 on Saturday at the Mike Perkins Super Saturday Tournament, giving Yellow Jackets coach Charlie Pavlus his 200th career coaching victory.

Harrison Central 33, Crystal Springs 30: Chyna Allen had 13 points, four assists and four steals as Harrison Central beat Crystal Springs.

Crystal Springs 60, Harrison Central 57: The Red Rebels dropped their season opener despite 30 points and 28 rebounds from Daquan Perkins. Dajon Whitworth also had 11 points.

Moss Point 54, Mount Olive 30: Cam Jones and Terrance James each scored 15 points for the Tigers under new head coach Robin Sikes.

St. Martin girls 66, East Central 44: Daphane White scored 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Lady Jackets at the Mike Perkins Super Saturday Tournament. Raven Overman added 15 points and 15 rebounds. Myjarra Avant finished with 11. Sania Wells led the Lady Hornets with 28 points.

Biloxi 51, Petal 38: Dillyn Neely scored 13 points to lead the Indians at the Mike Perkins Super Saturday Tournament. Rashaun Jones added 11, Dontavius Proby had 10.

Pascagoula 61, Perry Central 31: Miles McClammey led the Panthers with 13 points, LeBarrion McCovery added 12.


George County girls, 4, Gulfport 0: Olivia Simpson and Avery Davis each scored twice at the Gulfport Classic.

George County girls 2, Pascagoula 1: Olivia Simpson and Alexus Hodges each scored.

Ocean Springs 1, Gulfport 0: Caleb Burke scored the only goal for the Greyhounds.

Ocean Springs 3, St. Stanislaus 1: Caleb Burke scored twice, Mike Jimenez added a goal to lead the Greyhounds.
