South Pike rallies to end Moss Point’s season in 4A playoffs

South Pike scored the final 12 points of the game to eliminate Moss Point 30-18 in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs Friday night.

Moss Point took a 19-18 advantage with 3:45 left in the third quarter, but that was the final lead of the game for the Tigers (3-9).

All three of Moss Point's touchdowns were 1-yard runs by 6-foot-3, 210-pound junior Keandre Booker.

South Pike improved to 9-3 and will host Greene County in the second round of the playoffs.
