Meridian shuts down George County to clinch Region 3-6A playoff berth
Meridian jumped out to a 17-0 first quarter lead and never looked back in routing George County 44-0 on Thursday night.
The Rebels’ season ended at 2-10, 1-6 in Region 3-6A.
The Wildcats clinched a playoff berth in Class 6A.
