West Harrison falls at Wayne County
Wayne County jumped out to a 20-0 halftime lead and never looked back in a 37-0 shutout over West Harrison on Friday night at Waynesboro.
The Hurricanes, coached by Tracy Rogers, fell to 1-9 and 0-6 in Region 4-5A.
The War Eagles (5-5, 3-3), coached by former Ocean Springs coach Todd Mangum, can clinch a 5A state playoff berth with a win at Gautier next Friday.
