Hancock LB tackles way to Sun Herald honor
Outside linebacker Chase McDonald played a big role in Hancock earning a 6A playoff berth.
The senior earned Sun Herald defensive player of the week honors, leading Hancock to a 35-0 victory over Harrison Central on Friday at Earl Phillips Sr. Stadium.
McDonald had 13 total tackles, three tackles for loss and two pass breakups., as Hancock recorded its first-ever shutout victory in Class 6A.
