Long Beach scores season-high against West Harrison

Long Beach opened up its offense Friday night in a 56-28 win over West Harrison.

Cade Crosby completed 14 of 24 passes for 252 yards with 1- and 4-yard touchdown passes to Jaidon Evans. The sophomore quarterback also rushed for 48 yards and three scores (two 1-yard runs and an 8-yard scramble).

Dennis Andrews continued to pace Long Beach’s ground attack, collecting 175 yards on 24 carries. He scored on a 13-yard run and an 8-yard run.

Long Beach (6-3, 3-2) rounded out its scoring with a safety and a 10-yard run from Kobe Cook.

West Harrison (1-8, 0-5) visits Wayne County next Friday. Long Beach will travel to Hattiesburg.
