Pass Christian put together a rebound performance Friday night after getting thumped 47-0 by East Central last week.

The Pirates defense shut down Moss Point for a 12-0 win on the road.

"We bounced back this week and had a good week of practice," Pass Christian coach Casey Wittmann said. "Our defense played really well. It rained a lot in the second quarter. Once we got the lead, we played it conservative with the wet field. It was pouring down."

The first score of the night was a touchdown toss from Dustin Allison to junior Elijah Barnes.

Tionne Frost added a 23-yard touchdown run off tackle to give the Pirates a 12-0 advantage at the half.

Pass Christian improved to 4-4 overall and 2-1 in Region 8-4A while Moss Point dropped to 2-7 and 1-2.
