Sun Herald’s offensive player of the week broke free Friday
Picayune running back Shaun Anderson had a monster game Friday night. It’s a good thing, too, because the Maroon Tide needed all five of his eye-popping touchdowns to beat Stone 42-35.
The senior scored on runs of 63, 64, 72, 74 and 65 yards to put away the Tomcats.
The 401-yard performance was easily a career-high for the speedster.
Anderson now has 1,236 yards 13 touchdowns on the season.
