East Central jumped out to a 41-0 lead at the half and cruised to a 48-0 victory at Pass Christian Friday night.

East Central senior running back Tony Brown had seven carries for 124 yards and three touchdowns. Ryan Evans added nine rushes for 121 yards and two touchdowns.

“We had by far the most complete first half we've had all season,” East Central coach Seth Smith said.

Hunter Zwick provided a defensive score for the Hornets (6-0, 2-0) on a 50-yard interception return for a touchdown.

“Our offensive line was pretty dominant and our defense continued to be our defense. They were really good,” Smith said.

East Central can now look ahead to next week's home game against St. Stanislaus, which is 4-3 and 2-0 after beating Bay High 30-0 on Friday.
