Quarterback Caleb Garcia has played a big role in Hancock being the Coast’s biggest surprise football team.
The junior went 10-for-10 for 245 yards and four touchdowns as Hancock clobbered St. Martin 49-24 on Friday at Brett Favre Field in Kiln.
Thanks to Garcia leading a balanced offense, Hancock (5-1, 2-0) is tied atop Region 4-6A with Gulfport and Biloxi.
Garcia won the starting job in fall practice.
