Brandon pulls away to thump George County
George County led 7-0 after one quarter, but things fell apart from there on the road for the Rebels Friday night.
Brandon raced to a 21-7 lead at the half and pulled away for a 49-7 victory.
Brandon quarterback Will Rogers completed 17-of-22 passes for 296 yards and four touchdowns for the Bulldogs (3-3, 1-0).
Jakob Green had the lone score for George County on a 1-yard run with 6:33 left in the first quarter.
George County dropped to 1-6 overall and 0-2 in Region 3-6A with the loss.
George County will host Jim Hill this upcoming Friday.
