Rebecca Walk played a big role in Our Lady Academy winning the Woodlawn Volleyball Tournament last weekend.
The sophomore middle blocker earned Sun Herald volleyball player of the week honors. She had 72 kills, 17 points, six blocks, 36 digs as OLA won five of six games in the tournament.
Walk continued her stellar play with a sweep over county rival Hancock High, winning 25-20, 25-18, 25-20. She had 16 kills, three blocks and 11 digs.
As OLA clinched its 18th consecutive region title 25-3, 25-5, 25-10 win over St. Patrick last Thursday, Walk had 11 points and six kills.
