Stone cornerback delivers to land Sun Herald award
Stone High’s defense was the difference in its 21-7 victory over Harrison Central on Friday at A.L. May Memorial Stadium.
Cornerback Enrique Whaley was a major part of the Tomcats’ defensive surge against the Red Rebels in their season-opener.
The senior had three interceptions and recorded seven total tackles for the Tomcats (1-0), who visit Biloxi at Indian Stadium next Friday.
