Our Lady Academy standout earns Sun Herald volleyball player of the week honor

Our Lady Academy’s Emma Funk is the Sun Herald’s volleyball player of the week.

In OLA’s 25-21, 22-25, 25-22, 25-17 win over Ocean Springs, Funk had 28 kills, 5 blocks, 7 digs and one ace.

The senior also shined in a 23-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-10 victory over Vancleave. She had 27 kills, 10 digs, five blocks and five aces.

Funk is a two-time Sun Herald volleyball player of the year and led OLA to multiple state championships.
