St. Patrick promotes Burger to Athletic Director
St. Patrick High announced the hiring of Eddie Burger as its new Athletic Director.
Burger has served as the Fighting Irish’s baseball coach since 2013.
“I am extremely humbled and honored about the opportunity to lead the St. Patrick athletic program,” Burger said in a release. “This has been a dream of mine since stepping on campus in 2010. I firmly believe that St. Patrick’s finest days are ahead of us.”
Burger is a 2002 graduate from Long Beach High, playing football and baseball for the Bearcats. He later signed a scholarship to play baseball at Southern Miss. He eventually earned bachelor’s degree in Coaching and Sports Administration and a master’s degree in Sports Management.
Burger and his wife Emily have twin sons, Mason and Maddox.
He is also former baseball assistant coach at Pearl River Community College.
